Endodontics
A different dental experience.
What is Endodontics?
Endodontics is a specialty of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of dental pulp disorders.
The endodontic procedure is performed when the dental pulp is damaged or infected due to deep caries, dental fracture, trauma or periodontal disease.
During endodontic treatment, the damaged or infected pulp is carefully removed, the root canal is cleaned and disinfected, and finally, the canal is sealed with a filling material to prevent future infections.
Endodontics is a safe and effective procedure that preserves natural teeth that would otherwise have to be extracted.
Endodontics with Microscope
Microscope endodontics is an advanced technique used in dentistry to perform root canal treatment (endodontics) with greater precision and detail.
The dental microscope provides a significant increase in vision and illumination, allowing better visualization of dental structures, which translates into treatments of greater precision, safety and preservation of natural dental tissue.
The operating microscope greatly facilitates the identification of small fractures or fissures of dental organs. Today, endodontics with a microscope is the global GOLD STANDARD in endodontic treatment.
